Prayer of Salvation

Dear friend,

If you're reading this, you may be feeling a stirring in your heart to seek forgiveness and make a commitment to follow Jesus Christ. The good news is that God loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you. All you need to do is confess your sins and ask for forgiveness. This prayer, along with some scripture references and three additional stages, will help you get started on your journey.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I confess that I am a sinner and I have fallen short of Your glory (Romans 3:23). I repent of all my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died on the cross for my sins, and that He rose again from the dead on the third day according to 1 Corinthians 15:3-4. I invite Jesus Christ into my heart to be my Lord and Savior, and I surrender my life to Him according to Romans 10:9.

Thank You, Father, for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life according John 3:16). I pray that You will fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide me in all truth according to John 16:13. I also pray that You will lead me to a community of believers where I can grow in my faith and serve You according Hebrews 10:25.

In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

Now that you have prayed this prayer, it's important to take some additional steps to help you grow in your faith. Here are three stages you can consider:

The Restoration House Online | Salvation
  • Join a Church: (01)

Find a local church (online or in-person) where you can attend services regularly, connect with other believers, and receive spiritual guidance from a pastor or elder in the faith. Attending church is a vital part of growing as a Christian and building a strong relationship with God.

  • Study the Bible: (02)

The Bible is God's word and the foundation of our faith. By studying the Bible, we can learn more about God, His character, and His plan for our lives. Consider joining a Bible study group and reading the Bible regularly on your own.

  • Pray and Worship: (03)

Prayer is a way to communicate with God, and worship is a way to express our love and gratitude to Him. Make time each day to pray and worship God, and ask Him to help you grow in your faith and become more like Jesus.
